Hi there! I’m Trisha, founder of TM Create Design, and I’m so excited to share a little piece of my story with you. If you’ve ever dreamt of leaping into entrepreneurship, I think you’ll find something here that resonates.
Before launching TM Create Design, I was a serial entrepreneur. My last venture was in the dress rental industry before it became a buzzword! It was a wild ride—juggling countless hats, learning through trial and error, and figuring out what worked (and, let’s be real, what didn’t). That experience didn’t just shape me; it showed me how resilient entrepreneurs can be when we’re passionate about what we do.
Overcoming Challenges & Growing Stronger
Don’t get me wrong—being an entrepreneur isn’t all sunshine and perfectly aligned plans. It’s messy, unpredictable, and sometimes downright exhausting. There were moments I doubted myself, like when things didn’t go as planned or when I felt like I was running on empty. But you know what? Those challenges taught me how to pivot, stay resourceful, and keep moving forward.
When I decided to start TM Create Design, I wanted to do more than just design websites. I wanted to empower other entrepreneurs—especially those in the early stages of their journey. Because let’s face it, starting out can feel overwhelming, and we all need a little guidance along the way.
One of the biggest hurdles I faced was finding my voice in a crowded industry. How do you stand out when there are so many talented designers out there? The answer came when I stopped trying to emulate others and started focusing on authenticity. By embracing what makes me unique—my empathy, passion for sustainability, and commitment to empowering others—I was able to carve out a niche that resonates with like-minded entrepreneurs.
I’ve also learned that challenges are opportunities in disguise. Whether it’s a technical setback or a slower-than-expected growth period, each obstacle has taught me resilience, resourcefulness, and the value of community. Surrounding myself with supportive mentors, peers, and clients has been instrumental in overcoming these hurdles and continuing to grow.
